This was going to be a very very special day!
When Tim and Bridget approached me to shoot their wedding I was really excited. They were friends of ours after my husband and Tim had worked together as Helicopter Rescue Crewmen for Air Ambulance.
When they told me of the location, I was even more excited. They had chosen Elizabeth beach on the NSW mid-north coast. A beautiful, romantic beach location, complete with national parks and lakes, and a reception venue overlooking the empty national park beach. And as an added bonus, this was also where my husband and I were married! So, a trip down memory lane for me… and great for Bridget and Tim as I knew their day would be amazing.
Bridget looked absolutely stunning and was truly a glowing bride. She made me think of Grace Kelly with her timeless dress and classic style. Tim was very cool, calm and collected (most of the time anyway!), always fun and full of charisma… he made a very handsome, loved up groom.
The ceremony was held at the beautiful Bungwahl church and after the gorgeous couple were married, they boarded the coolest of cool old Volkswagen Combi vans and we headed for the beach. We had a fantastic time shooting on Elizabeth beach, champagne and all, as well as the beautiful backdrop of Smith’s lake.
Heading back to the reception venue at the Elizabeth beach Surf Lifesaving club on dusk was the perfect finish to a absolutely perfect day! Congratulations Tim & Bridg!
